Arrived in Rio on Tuesday night, it was so hot I began to melt immediately! This week so far has been a whirlwind, I have found it quite daunting and tiring but it is exciting to get my teeth into a new adventure and city. Brazil is unlike anywhere I have been before and I ha vent yet decided how I feel about, but I have been keeping track of my activities and they will all be blogged about. Tonight is actually our last night in Rio, and we are off to Ipanema for some drinks and to see the area more. Tomorrow morning we are off to meet Rio´s Celtic supporters club and watch the Celtic v rangers game. Then on to a bus to Iguassu Falls on the border with Argentina, a 24 hour bud ride- woop woop! We will arrive on Monday lunchtime.

On my way!

After an emotional weekend, me and John are now on the train, both a little tearful.
We will arrive in London this evening and stay at my aunt's and we will fly out to Rio early on Tuesday morning.
It's all quite surreal and I am feeling quite mixed about it. I am terribly excited but I also have a heavy chunk of nervousness too!
The little owl is with me, still unnamed I know, a decision will be made on the plane and I will spread the news via Rio!
